We are delighted to announce that Morris Finance Brand Ambassador Nick Percat will join the Walkinshaw Andretti United Team as driver of Car No. 2 for the 2022 Supercars Championship and beyond.

Percat, 33, has signed a multi-year deal with the WAU team, and will drive alongside teammate Chaz Mostert in the Walkinshaw Andretti United stable. 

After a seven-year hiatus, South Australian born Percat returns to the team he made his Supercars debut with.

His relationship with Walkinshaw Racing however, dates back to 2008, including Percat’s progression through the Formula Ford Championship (Australian Champion in 2009), the Supercars development series (now known as the Super2 Championship), and as a Holden Racing Team endurance driver. 

Percat made his solo main game debut for the Team in 2014, where he would go on to finish 12^th in the Championship in his rookie year.

This period was highlighted by his 2011 Bathurst 1000 win alongside Garth Tander for the Holden Racing Team, winning on debut in The Great Race.

He was also on the Bathurst podium for Walkinshaw Racing in 2014 alongside Oliver Gavin, and finished second at Sydney Motorsport Park in Round 9.

Now, Percat has 242 Supercars starts, four wins and 12 podium finishes to his name.

While excited for 2022, the WAU Team remains fully focussed on the remaining events in the 2021 season, which concludes with the Bathurst 1000 on December 1-5.
