Morris Expands Leadership Team with Appointment of Steff Pinder.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Steff Pinder as Head of Lending Operations, who commenced with Morris on the 19th January 2026.
Steff joins Morris with over a decade of progressive leadership experience across the financial services sector, with proven expertise in credit operations, quality assurance, complaints management and large-scale operational delivery. Most recently, she held the role of Executive General Manager – Head of Melbourne Operations at La Trobe Financial, where she was responsible for working closely with finance brokers and leading end-to-end credit assessment and administration functions within the Real Estate Credit Division.
Across her tenure at La Trobe Financial, Steff progressed through multiple leadership roles, consistently delivering strong operational outcomes. She led large, geographically dispersed teams, introduced impactful process and performance improvements, and played a key role in stabilising and scaling operations during periods of growth and change. Her leadership focus on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement resulted in sustained performance uplift and the development of high-performing teams, with numerous team members progressing into senior leadership positions.
In her role at Morris, Steff will oversee the Credit Assessment, Settlements, Credit Management and Client Services departments. She will be responsible for strengthening operational capability across the lending lifecycle, enhancing broker and ultimately client outcomes, and ensuring robust governance and regulatory compliance as the business continues to grow. This will include a strong focus on enhanced technology and optimising use of our new Loan Management Platform, MorrisOne.
