Strengthening Our Financial Strategy for the Future
Morris is pleased to announce the appointment of Rebecca Tofari to the role of Chief Financial Officer, commencing 17 November 2025. Rebecca brings over 20 years’ experience in senior finance and operational roles across property funds management, property and financial services.
A Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Applied Finance, Rebecca’s career has spanned organisations managing up to $10 billion in assets. She has held leadership positions including Vice President of Finance at Northwest Healthcare Properties, Chief Operating Officer at Suters Architects and Financial Controller at Newmark Capital. Earlier in her career, she spent seven years as Senior Accounting Manager at Newcastle Permanent Building Society, working closely with Treasury on loan securitisation programs and regulatory compliance.
In her new role, Rebecca will join Morris’ Executive team, leading the finance function with responsibility for strategic financial planning, corporate governance, systems integration and supporting the executive decision-making framework. Her appointment reinforces Morris’ commitment to strengthening its financial capability, governance and scalable growth infrastructure.
Following Rebecca’s appointment, Matthew Luehman will continue to play a key leadership role within Morris as Group Financial Controller. Matthew has provided valuable leadership of the finance team over the past 12 months, including guiding the business through key transformation initiatives and supporting the company’s growth objectives. Morris thanks Matt for his commitment and professionalism and looks forward to his ongoing impact as a key leader within the business.
