Luke Bowden Appointed to Support Expansion Across QLD and Northern NSW.
Morris is pleased to announce the appointment of Luke Bowden to the role of Business Development Manager, having commenced on Monday 20th April.
Luke brings over 20 years’ experience across financial services, with a strong background in portfolio management, asset finance and client relationship management. He has a proven track record of driving growth, building high-performing client networks and delivering tailored financial solutions, supported by deep expertise in financial analysis, investment strategy and market assessment.
Most recently, Luke held the role of Portfolio Manager at HD Capital, where he was responsible for managing client portfolios, conducting in-depth market and investment analysis, and optimising portfolio performance. Prior to this, he spent over a decade as Director at LJ Solutions, leading an asset finance brokerage business and working closely with clients to structure effective funding solutions. Earlier in his career, Luke held senior roles including Senior Business Manager at James Frizelle’s Automotive Group and Branch Manager at United Financial Services, where he developed strong capabilities in sales leadership, credit and client relationship management.
Based on the Gold Coast, Luke will work closely with Simon Lumley, State Manager – QLD, and the broader team, with a primary focus on strengthening broker relationships, increasing application and settlement volumes, and identifying new opportunities to expand Morris’ presence across Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
In his new role, Luke will play a key part in supporting Morris’ continued growth in the region, contributing to the development of strategic partnerships and enhancing engagement with our broker network. His appointment reinforces Morris’ commitment to investing in key markets and building capability to support scalable, long-term growth.
